By Car:
Arriving on the M11 motorway, exit at junction 11 and follow the
signs into Cambridge. Pass the Trumpington Park & Ride site
and Waitrose supermarket on the left. Turn left at the junction
then continue on the same road all the way into the city passing
through Trumpington (Shell garage on the left, Esso garage on
right), several large private schools on the right, an area
of common land that often contains horses on the left. Ultimately,
arrive at a pair of mini-roundabouts infront of a large hotel
(The Royal Cambridge). Go straight ahead at the first roundabout,
then immediately right at the second onto Lensfield road. Turn
first left, after about 50 metres, into Tennis Court Road (this
is one way!). The Henry Wellcome Building housing the Wellcome
Trust / Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute is the first building
on the left. Parking is unavailable on site though Grand
Arcade and Queen Anne Terrance car parks are within walking
distance and buses from the Trumpington Park & Ride site
drop off passengers in central Cambridge.
