My work focuses on the importance of protein complex formation in the integrin adhesome, with specific focus on the RIPP complex. I also have an interest in cadherin based adhesions and am investigating new players thought to be implicated in regulating the dynamics of cell-cell adhesion

My research interest is how multicellular organisms assemble their bodies with different types of cells, tissue and organs by using specific "glue" called cell adhesions.
Especially I'm interested in the diversity of combinations between extracellular matrix and integrins, and how the cells control integrin adhesions to organize the whole body structure during development.
